An early look at the top free agents this offseason:
Yoenis Cespedes, OF, New York Mets: Cespedes has an opt-out clause at the end of the season, and most analysts are expecting him to exercise it even if he's seeking to re-sign with the Mets. Cespedes is making $27 million this season, and his current contract calls for $47.5 million over the next two years. He would be looking for a new four- or five-year deal obviously worth significantly more -- and he has reason to seek more.
