NorthEast United 2 - 0 Mohammedan SC

(Samperio 19', S.Singh 45'+2')

NorthEast United finished their season with a comfortable 2-0 win over rock-bottom Mohammedan, who suffered their tenth loss of the season (the other matches ended as draws).

Jairo Samperio and Dinesh Singh Soraisham found the net for NEUFC, who climbed one place to ninth in the table and concluded their campaign with 16 points. Mohammedan SC, who had their relegation confirmed earlier in the season, finished at the bottom of the standings with three points, ending their campaign without a win.

Samperio opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a tough header off a Jithin MS cross; before they sealed the deal in the first half itself as Soraisham pounced on a penalty box melee to shoot from just outside the six-yard box and make it 2-0.

NorthEast had 0.83 xG to MSC's 0.40 and had 21 shots to the visitors 7.

Kerala Blasters FC 2-1 FC Goa

(Kévin Yoke 48', Fallou Ndiaye 81' - Muhammed Nemil 62')

Kerala Blasters FC ended their Indian Super League 2025-26 campaign on a high with a 2-1 victory against FC Goa in Kochi. Goals from Kévin Yoke and Fallou Ndiaye secured all three points for the hosts, while Muhammed Nemil scored the equaliser for FC Goa in an evenly contested encounter

The victory extended Kerala Blasters' unbeaten run to six matches and saw them finish eighth in the standings with 17 points from 13 matches. FC Goa, meanwhile, concluded their campaign in seventh place with 20 points.

Kerala Blasters began with intent, winning an early free-kick through Víctor Bertomeu, but it was FC Goa who gradually settled into rhythm and dominated possession in the opening exchanges. Despite Goa's control, Kerala Blasters created the clearer chances, but the teams went into the break level.

The second half started with renewed urgency from Kerala Blasters, and they were rewarded almost immediately. In the 48th minute, Kévin Yoke produced a moment of brilliance, striking a powerful effort from outside the box into the top corner to give the hosts the lead.

FC Goa responded positively and continued to move the ball well in midfield. After a brief spell of pressure, they found the equaliser in the 62nd minute when Brison Fernandes delivered a precise low cross into the box, and Muhammed Nemil finished clinically from close range.

Both sides pushed for a winner thereafter, with Yoke continuing to trouble the Goa defence with his driving runs, while Dražić and Udanta Singh attempted efforts from distance at the other end.

The decisive moment arrived in the 81st minute. From a corner, Francisco Feuillassier delivered a dangerous ball into the box, and centre-back Fallou Ndiaye guided the cross into the bottom corner with his right foot, restoring Kerala Blasters' lead.

Mohun Bagan SG 1 - 1 East Bengal FC

(Jason Cummings 90' - Edmund Lalrindika 85')

Mohun Bagan Super Giant struck late through Jason Cummings to snatch a dramatic 1-1 draw against arch-rivals East Bengal in a tense and emotionally-charged Indian Super League Kolkata derby on Sunday. In a cagey contest packed with missed chances, fierce tackles and late drama, East Bengal looked set for their first-ever ISL derby win after substitute Edmund Lalrindika broke the deadlock in the 85th minute. But Mohun Bagan responded almost immediately as substitute Cummings headed home from a corner in the 90th minute to deny East Bengal a famous victory.

The result kept both teams level on 23 points, though East Bengal retained a five-goal advantage over Mohun Bagan heading into the final round on May 21. While Mohun Bagan will face 11th-placed SC Delhi at the Salt Lake Stadium, East Bengal will take on ninth-placed Inter Kashi at Kishore Bharati, with both matches to be played simultaneously.

Mohun Bagan dominated possession for large periods and created more chances in the first half, but East Bengal looked dangerous on the counter in an open and frantic contest. The home side threatened as early as the fourth minute when Liston Colaco slipped Subhasish Bose into the East Bengal box before Sahal Abdul Samad failed to control the cutback. East Bengal responded almost immediately as Bipin Singh broke through on goal, only for Abhishek Singh to produce a crucial tackle. Liston looked lively down the left flank throughout and repeatedly troubled Mohammed Rakip, while Mohun Bagan continued to press through Sahal Abdul Samad and Jamie Maclaren.

However, East Bengal squandered two golden opportunities midway through the first half. First, Danish forward Anton Sojberg bulldozed his way past Tom Aldred before smashing a fierce left-footed shot against the far post in the 15th minute. Seven minutes later, Bipin Singh found himself one-on-one with Vishal Kaith but hesitated too long, allowing Aldred to recover and block the effort. East Bengal again came close in the 37th minute when Miguel Ferreira released Sojberg clear on goal, but the striker took an extra touch and Kaith rushed out to smother the danger. At the other end, Prabhsukhan Gill stood firm for East Bengal, denying Mohun Bagan repeatedly, including a sharp save from a long-range Anirudh Thapa volley and another from Maclaren at close range.

The frantic pace continued after the break with both sides wasting opportunities. Bipin Singh blazed over from a tight angle after being set up by Sojberg, while Mohun Bagan kept probing through Petratos, Liston and Manvir Singh.

The breakthrough finally arrived five minutes from regulation time. Miguel Ferreira slipped Edmund Lalrindika through from midfield and the substitute raced clear before calmly placing his shot beyond Kaith into the far corner. Edmund celebrated wildly in front of the East Bengal supporters, removing his jersey and planting it on the corner flag as the red-and-gold fans sensed a historic win. But Mohun Bagan had other plans. In the 90th minute, Dimitri Petratos swung in a teasing corner and Cummings timed his near-post run perfectly to glance a header into the far corner. East Bengal's frustration deepened moments later when goalscorer Edmund was sent off in stoppage time.

Mohun Bagan almost stole victory deep into the seven minutes of the added time when Liston burst forward and squared the ball for Maclaren, but Gill produced a stunning save with his left leg to preserve the draw. Gill and Kaith ultimately emerged as the heroes for their respective sides in another unforgettable Kolkata derby.

SC Delhi 0 - 0 Inter Kashi

SC Delhi and Inter Kashi shared the spoils in a tightly-contested 0-0 draw on Sunday. With this result, Inter Kashi move up to ninth place with 13 points from 12 matches, while Sporting Club Delhi climb to 11th with 11 points from the same number of games.

Inter Kashi started on the front foot, showing early attacking intent and testing the Sporting Club Delhi defence within the opening minutes. Rohit Danu forced a save from Nora Fernandes with a long-range effort, while winger Mohammed Asif and striker Seiminlen Doungel both came close to breaking the deadlock. Sporting Club Delhi, however, remained organised at the back, with Clarence Fernandes and captain Ashutosh Mehta leading a compact defensive display. While the hosts saw more of the ball in phases, they struggled to create clear openings in the final third. Inter Kashi continued to dominate possession through the first half, with Alfred Planas particularly influential in attack. The Spaniard saw multiple efforts either blocked or saved, and even had the ball in the net in the 37th minute, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside. The visitors came closest to scoring just before the interval when a well-delivered corner from the right saw Narender Gahlot open on the far side, but the centre back failed to connect cleanly from close range. Planas then forced another sharp save from Fernandes in stoppage time, ensuring the teams went into the break level at 0-0.

Sporting Club Delhi emerged with greater urgency in the second half, making three changes at the restart and pushing higher up the pitch. The hosts enjoyed a bright spell early on, with Augustine Lalrochana coming close with a left-footed effort that drifted narrowly wide. Inter Kashi gradually regained control and continued to threaten from set-pieces and long-range efforts. Sergio Llamas orchestrated play from midfield, setting up Planas for another attempt that was parried away by Fernandes. As the game progressed, both teams exchanged attacking spells, but neither could carve out a decisive opportunity. Substitute Prasanth K delivered a teasing ball into the box in the 79th minute, but Nauris Petkevičius failed to guide his effort on target. At the other end, Abdul-Halik Hudu and Augustine combined well, though the final touch continued to elude the hosts. The closing stages saw Inter Kashi push for a late winner, with Narender Gahlot's header punched away by Fernandes before a flurry of blocked attempts inside the box by SC Delhi defense. Sergio Llamas had the final chance deep into stoppage time, but his effort sailed high and wide. In the end, neither side could find the breakthrough, settling for a point each in a contest.

Odisha FC 2 - 3 Punjab FC

(VP Suhair 70', Kartik Hantal 90'+6'; Mangienthang Kipgen 68', Bede Osuji 88', Dani Ramirez 90'+3')

Punjab FC survived a late scare to beat Odisha FC 3-2 and keep their title hopes alive -- while simultaneously ending the hopes of current league leaders Bengaluru FC. This is because Punjab play Mumbai City on the last day, with both teams on 22 (one point behind BFC) any result would push BFC down regardless of any other result elsewhere. You can decode that here with our scenarios.

On Saturday, meanwhile, Punjab dominated proceedings before Odisha took the lead with just their fourth shot of the night (and their first on target) thanks to VP Suhair. Punjab equalised inside two minutes via Kipgen, before Osuji gave them the lead their dominance called for. Ramirez added a third late on, and it proved to be an important one after shambolic defending allowed Hantal to squeeze in a goal with Odisha's second shot on target (for context Punjab had six on target, and 22 overall).

Chennaiyin FC 1 - 2 Bengaluru FC

(Daniel Chima Chukwu 34' - Ryan Williams 43', Serto Worneilen Kom 89')

Bengaluru FC grabbed a late 2-1 victory over Chennaiyin FC to keep their slim title hopes alive, thanks to an 89th-minute goal from debutant Serto Worneilen Kom. The result moved BFC to the top of the table with 23 points, although they have played their final game of the season and need multiple results to go their way. Chennaiyin FC, meanwhile, finish their season second-from-bottom with 9 points.

It was a relatively quiet start to the game, with both sides cancelling each other out. There was a minor flashpoint in the 18th minute when Ryan Williams was left appealing loudly to the referee, claiming Mohammad Nawaz had collected a long ball forward outside the box, but replays proved inconclusive. BFC's Indian striker did come close in the 29th minute, when he controlled a cross from Soham Varshneya in the box, but Laldinpuia was on hand to block his goal-bound shot. Chennaiyin found the opener in the 34th minute as Daniel Chukwu Chima was at the end of a fluid counter-attack. Farukh Choudhary, with the ball on the left wing, threaded a measured pass to Maheson Singh making an underlapping run into space, and Maheson in turn played a fine low cross for Chukwu to tap into the net from close range.

Williams remained an ever-present threat, however and equalized for Bengaluru FC in the 43rd minute. Lalremtluanga Fanai drove through the middle of the park before threading a pass to Williams in space on the right side of the box. The Indian forward didn't waste any time, before hammering a low drive from a narrow angle that flew past Nawaz to make it 1-1 going into the break.

BFC ought to have taken the lead in the 65th minute, only for Nawaz to make another point-blank save. Williams pulled off a mazy run through the CFC defence down the right, before cutting the ball back in the box, where Brian Sánchez controlled and volleyed towards goal from only a few yards out, but he found the face of Nawaz instead of the net. Both teams labored towards the end, with substitute Sunil Chhetri looping a header over the bar with four minutes to go. However there was a late twist in the tale, when BFC debutant Serto Kom scored after a missed clearance in the CFC box, granting Bengaluru FC a 2-1 win.

Mohammedan SC 0 - 4 Mumbai City FC

(Sahil Panwar 1', Puipuia 8', Sajad Parray (OG) 25', Brandon Fernandes 79')

Mumbai City FC drew level on points with league leaders East Bengal and Mohun Bagan, after a 4-0 rout of Mohammedan SC. Petr Kratky's side rose from seventh in the table to third (trailing the Kolkata giants on goal difference), while Mohammedan remained rooted to the bottom of the table and saw their relegation confirmed with the defeat.

It took seconds for Mumbai City to open the scoring as Sahil Panwar stroked the ball into the net at the near post following an early corner from Puipuia. Petr Kratky's side could have been 3-0 up inside five minutes, but Lallianzuala Chhangte and Vikram Partap Singh screwed their headers wide as the visitors looked to assert their dominance. They didn't have to wait long however, as Puipuia made it 2-0 in the eighth minute. Charging through the middle, the Mumbai City midfielder played a 1-2 with Chhangte on the edge of the box, before stroking the ball into the bottom corner. Mumbai retained their dominance against a hapless Mohammedan and a horror own goal from Sajad Parray made it 3-0 in the 25th minute. A routine long ball up the field saw Vikram race past the backline and get a shot off on goal, which squirmed under goalkeeper Padam Chettri and bobbled in the box, only for Sajad to miscue with his weaker right foot and send the ball straight into his own net. The drinks break seemed to reinvigorate Mohammedan as they grew into the game in the latter stages of the half, with Hira Mondal almost scoring from a corner on the stroke of half-time. However, Mumbai retained their 3-0 lead going into the break.

It was a more even contest at the start of the second half, and Thokchom Adison Singh nearly reduced the arrears in the 59th minute with a powerful shot from range which tested TP Rehenesh in the Mumbai goal. Brandon Fernandes spurned a great chance soon after, as Vikram found him in space in the box with a low cross, but the Mumbai midfielder only shot straight at Chettri. The Mohammedan keeper had to be at his best in the 68th minute, denying Chhangte from a one-on-one situation after PN Noufal put him through. The game was temporarily called off in the 72nd minute after a heavy downpour and resumed almost an hour later. Chhangte proved he had not lost a step minutes after play resumed, with a hammer of a strike from range, that Chettri did superbly to tip onto the bar. Mumbai completed the rout in the 79th minute via Brandon Fernandes, who guided the ball into the net after Noufal's cutback from the left wing.

Mumbai spurned a couple more opportunities late on, but confirmed Mohammedan's relegation into the IFL as the final whistle blew.
