Arsenal fans turned out in their thousands to celebrate their team's Premier League title triumph and, despite the heartbreak of losing to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties in the Champions League final on Saturday night, their spirits were high as the team bus drove through north London.
It was estimated that between 750,000 and a million Arsenal fans lined the streets of north London to show support for their beloved team along the 5.6 mile route.
Regardless of what happened in Budapest, it has been a formidable season for Arsenal and their fans are relishing the joys of landing their first Premier League title in 22 years.
It is a moment that many Arsenal fans may not have thought would come, following a number of near-misses over the last few seasons. But, at last, they are no longer haunted by second-place finishes in the Premier League. They finished the season seven points clear of Manchester City to win the title.
Some fans hung out of windows, on top of bus stops, others on roof terraces, as they attempted to catch a glimpse of their heroes with red smoke, from thousands of flares, polluting the north London sky.
There was also a bus in the parade for the Arsenal women's team, who are celebrating their victory from February at the Women's Champions Cup.
