Mikel Merino scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner to send Spain through to the World Cup quarterfinals as they eliminated Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal.
La Roja have reached the quarterfinals for the first time since winning the whole thing in 2010, and will face either United States or Belgium in Los Angeles on Friday.
