They will also welcome Bayern's perennial rivals Borussia Dortmund to the Emirates during the league phase while Ligue 1 high-flyers Lille will also travel to north London.
A visit to Napoli and Real Betis await the Premier League winners, who will also host Champions League debutants in the form of Azerbaijani side Sabah and travel to Czechia to face Slavia Prague.
Mikel Arteta's side cruelly fell at the final hurdle last season, losing on penalties in the final to Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest.
They have since bolstered an already title-winning squad with former Newcastle captain Bruno Guimarães, Ezri Konsa and Christos Tzolis a few of the notable incomings.
Arsenal dumped out European giants Madrid 5-1 on aggregate two seasons ago, while they came out 3-1 winners against Bayern in the league phase last term. They will be hoping for similar results this season.
Their midseason trip to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona to face Massimiliano Allegri's Napoli is another fixture that stands out on Arsenal's list with their only previous journey to Naples ending in a 2-0 defeat back in 2013, with none other than current manager Mikel Arteta seeing red that night.
With just two appearances in the showpiece final, last season and in 2006, Arsenal will be looking to secure a third ticket this term, and go one better to claim what has been an elusive crown.
