Tottenham Hotspur are in talks to sign Savinho and Omar Marmoush from Manchester City, sources have told ESPN's James Olley.

While there is no certainty of a deal, City are open to letting the pair leave for the right price.

Spurs have been aggressive in the summer transfer window ahead of Roberto de Zerbi's first full season in charge, signing Sandro Tonali, Andy Robertson, Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi and Mateus Fernandes, costing the club upwards of £200 million ($272m).

Marmoush joined City in January last year but has struggled for game time, sitting firmly behind Erling Haaland in the pecking order.

Savinho has a contract at the Etihad Stadium through to 2031, but has also had limited chances.

Neither player started in City's 3-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Community Shield in Cardiff.

Outside of Elliot Anderson, who joined City in a £116 ($154m) move from Nottingham Forest, big name incomings have been limited this summer.

Meanwhile Enzo Maresca has lost the services of Rodri, who has joined Barcelona, as well as Tijjani Reijnders and goalkeeper James Trafford, who have joined Al Qadsiah and Leeds United, respectively.
