News: 10 hours agoThe Mets selected Seelinger's contract from Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday.

Spin: The right-hander was acquired from the Tigers in exchange for cash considerations Monday, and the Mets will quickly add him to the big-league roster. Seelinger has a 3.89 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 49:19 K:BB across 39.1 innings at the Triple-A level this year and should fill a low-leverage relief role for New York.
