The FIBA World Cup qualifiers continued Monday evening in Perth with the Australian Boomers defeating the Philippines at RAC Arena.
Both teams had already progressed through to the second round of qualification ahead of next year's World Cup but the Australians took the win to ensure they finished this first phase of qualifiers with an unbeaten record.
