South Africa 45-21 England: Springboks romp to victory at Ellis Park - as it happened

South Africa condemned England to their fifth-straight defeat on Saturday with a 45-21 thrashing of Steve Borthwick's side at Ellis Park.

The Boks raced out to a 17-0 lead as England were stunned in the opening 10 minutes by a relentless South African attack.

England recovered and pulled it back to 17-14 at the break but South Africa came out fast again in the second, with another blitz rocking the visitors. Yellow cards in the last 10 minutes to Tommy Freeman and Guy Pepper added more pain for England as they were out-played in their opening Nations Championship match.
