With first round play suspended due to darkness, Wyndham Clark holds a huge lead at the top of the 2026 U.S. Open odds board at -6, which has also propelled him to the top of the tournament winner odds board at +330. Clark won the 2023 U.S. Open as a pretournament 100-1 long shot, but came into this week's competition at Shinnecock Hills at a much more manageable 45-1.

Jon Rahm is next on the board at +560 after shooting 2-under through 13 holes, with Rory McIlroy next at +750 after he finished his round at 1-under. Public pick Matt Fitzpatrick is now +760 after shooting -2 through 16 holes.

Pretournament favorite Scottie Scheffler has lengthened from +450 to 13-1 after an opening round 2-over. Dustin Johnson, the U.S. Open champion in 2016, has shot 2-under through 15 holes, shortening his odds greatly from 200-1 to +2350.
