PITTSBURGH -- Maybe it was the frustration that comes with losing the first two games of the Stanley Cup finals. Maybe it was an attempt to plant a seed in the minds of the linesmen moving forward.
Maybe Logan Couture of the San Jose Sharks was just sick of Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby getting away with what Couture thinks is an advantage in the faceoff circle.
Whatever the reason, Couture's postgame accusation that Crosby cheats on faceoffs has added flavor to the finals as the series shifts to San Jose.
Crosby consistently won offensive zone faceoffs cleanly in Game 2, and Couture fielded a question about it after the Sharks' overtime loss.
"He cheats," Couture said. "He gets away with it. He's Sidney Crosby."
So how, exactly, does he cheat?
