The Golden State Warriors still have a few roster spots available after all the moves last week, which included signing Kevin Durant. The Warriors brought in Zaza Pachulia and David West to add depth to the frontcourt, along with agreeing to terms with their own free agent James Michael McAdoo. Could GM Bob Myers take a flyer on Larry Sanders?

Sanders, after stepping away from the NBA in December of 2014 to tend to personal issues, has been working out and reportedly may have interest in the Warriors. According to CSN Bay Area, the Warriors have not discussed the possibility of considering Sanders.
Sanders would likely only get veteran minimum offers, if he does announce his plans for a comeback. At this time, Golden State may be an organization not willing to offer him a deal.
Sanders is still being paid by the Milwaukee Bucks and his buyout agreement has him on their books for $1,865,547 through the 2021-22 NBA season.
