The Los Angeles Clippers have added two more players to their preseason roster this week, as they signed guard Xavier Munford on Tuesday and have agreed to terms with forward Dorell Wright, reports the Orange County Register.

Rumor Central

Wright, a 12-year NBA veteran, signed with the Miami Heat late last season on April 12 but did not play in a game. Before joining the Heat, Wright had played in China with North Control Beijing during the 2015-16 season. Wright last played in the NBA during the 2014-15 season with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Munford, a one-year NBA veteran, was signed to a rest-of-season contract by the Memphis Grizzlies on April 7 after completing two 10-day contracts. Munford appeared in 14 regular-season games and averaged 5.7 points, 1.6 assists and 2.2 rebounds.

The Clippers are one of the few NBA teams entering training camp that are over the luxury line and have 15 players signed to fully guaranteed salaries for the 2016-17 season. Those factors will make it difficult for Wright or Munford to make the opening-night regular-season roster.
