MILWAUKEE -- New York Mets minor leaguer Derrick Bernard has been suspended 50 games for a second positive test involving a drug of abuse, MLB announced.
Bernard already is serving a 62-game suspension for a positive PED test.
Bernard, a 23-year-old right-hander, appeared in six games in relief for the Gulf Coast League Mets in 2014. He originally was signed as an undrafted free agent.
