BALTIMORE -- David Wright went 2-for-5 with a pair of singles, a strikeout and two runs scored as his rehab assignment continued Wednesday with Class A St. Lucie. Wright played a full game at third base for a second straight day.
Through six games with the Florida State League club, Wright is now hitting .300 (6-for-20) with five walks and five strikeouts.
Wright is expected to rejoin the Mets on Monday in Philadelphia.
Manager Terry Collins said Wright will not be an everyday player until he demonstrates his back is OK, which may not come until next season.
Wright has been on the disabled list since April 15.
