BINGHAMTON 7, RICHMOND 4; RICHMOND 2, BINGHAMTON 1: The B-Mets sent 10 men to the plate in the second inning of Game 1, scoring six runs on five hits. L.J. Mazzilli gave Binghamton a 2-1 lead with an RBI double -- his fifth consecutive hit. T.J. Rivera added a three-run double. Joe Benson put an exclamation point on the inning with a homer. Rehabbing Erik Goeddel worked around a leadoff double in a scoreless sixth. Paul Sewald tossed a perfect seventh to earn his 21st save. Robert Gsellman (7-6) allowed four runs in five innings. In Game 2, the B-Mets managed four hits and left the bases loaded in the sixth when Jonathan Galvez grounded into a fielder's choice. Richmond built a 2-0 lead against Rainy Lara. In the sixth, Binghamton loaded the bases with two outs. Stephen Johnson then walked Vince Belnome to get the B-Mets on the board. Clinging to a one-run lead, Richmond turned to Tyler Mizenko. ST. LUCIE 6, BRADENTON 5: Stefan Sabol belted a walk-off homer over the batter’s eye in center on a 1-2 offering from Miguel Rosario with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. The shot capped a four-hit, four-RBI game for Sabol. He also walked. David Wright chipped in with quality fielding, two singles and two runs scored in his sixth rehab game. Wright finished 2-for-5. He struck out looking in the eighth with the go-ahead run on third. The Mets went up 2-0 in the first inning on RBI singles by Matt Oberste and Sabol. After Bradenton tied the score in the second, Colton Plaia gave the Mets the lead back on a bunt that plated Jhoan Urena. Oberste and Sabol hit doubles in the third to make it 4-2. Sabol had a two-out RBI single in the fifth to push the lead to 5-2. Jordan Steranka and Wyatt Mathisen hit solo homers against Kevin McGowan and Mike Hepple, respectively, to pull Bradenton within a run. With two outs in the eighth, Robby Coles then threw a wild pickoff throw to first base that allowed Chris Diaz to reach second. Michael Fransoso followed with a hit to tie the score at 5. McGowan allowed three runs on eight hits in six innings. Box
