WASHINGTON -- The New York Mets released their 2016 schedule on Tuesday. The Amazin's will open the season April 4 at the Kansas City Royals. The home opener will be April 8 against the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Subway Series will be Aug. 1-4, with the first two games at Citi Field, then two more in the Bronx.
Interleague series include at the Cleveland Indians (April 15-17), vs. the Chicago White Sox (May 30-June 1), vs. Kansas City (June 21-22), at the Detroit Tigers (Aug. 5-7) and vs. the Minnesota Twins (Sept. 16-18).
