NEW HAMPSHIRE 8, BINGHAMTON 4: Rehabbing Jim Henderson threw 11 pitches to three batters in a scoreless first inning. Ryan Lavarnway stroked a hit off the wall during the frame, but was thrown out at second base by left fielder Victor Cruzado. The Fisher Cats belted homers against Mickey Jannis and Alberto Baldonado and took advantage of errors by each of those pitchers as well as first baseman Matt Oberste. With two aboard in a scoreless game in the third, Ian Parmley bunted toward the mound. Jannis’ throw to first sailed past L.J. Mazzilli, allowing Derrick Loveless to score. Following a run-scoring groundout, Rowdy Tellez launched a three-run homer to cap a five-run inning. Fisher Cats starter Shane Dawson stranded two baserunners in the second and left the bases loaded in the third and fifth innings. Oberste’s two-out RBI single in the fifth proved to be the only blemish against Dawson in five innings. After the B-Mets pulled within 5-3 in the eighth, Baldonado surrendered three runs in the bottom half, including a two-run homer to Dwight Smith Jr. Jannis (3-8) allowed five runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks in five innings. CLEARWATER 4, ST. LUCIE 0: Three Clearwater pitchers combined to toss a no-hitter. Threshers starter Drew Anderson contributed four innings before a 44-minute lightning delay ended his outing. Will Morris handled the next four innings. Victor Arano pitched around a two-out walk in the ninth, ending the game by coaxing a flyout from John Mora. It marked the fifth time in St. Lucie's 29-year history that the club was no-hit. The last instance came in 2012 at Tampa. The Mets came close to a hit twice, but were robbed by quality fielding plays. Lednier Ricardo’s groundball in the sixth appeared headed up the middle, but shortstop Malquin Canelo made a sliding stop, spun and threw to first in time. In the eighth, David Thompson sent a chopper halfway up the third-base line. Morris pounced off the mound, collected the ball and fired across the diamond to retire Thompson. Jhoan Urena, Luis Guillorme and Jonathan Johnson drew walks. The Threshers scored the only run they needed right after the lightning delay. Domingo Tapia inherited a runner at second base from Chris Flexen and gave up a two-out RBI double to Mitch Walding. The Threshers sent nine to the plate in the sixth against Jimmy Duff and came away with three runs on four hits, a hit batter and a bases-loaded walk. Box

BROOKLYN 4, HUDSON VALLEY 3: Nick Sergakis produced his first professional homer -- a two-out tiebreaking solo shot in the seventh -- and first-round pick Justin Dunn had an eventful day as the Cyclones turned a triple play behind him. Dunn tossed two no-hit innings, albeit with two walks and a hit by pitch, and earned his first win since joining the organization. Colby Woodmansee also contributed a solo homer. With Dunn on for a second inning of work in the eighth, catcher Dan Rizzie nabbed Jim Haley's popped-up bunt and threw to Woodmansee covering second base. Woodmansee then threw on to first to complete a triple play. Taylor Henry collected his third save with a scoreless ninth. Box
