          NBA championship and Finals MVP odds: Knicks look to close out Cavs, Spurs keep series alive

          Right as it looked like the Oklahoma City Thunder were going to run away with the Western Conference finals, the San Antonio Spurs struck back with a huge win in Game 4 to even the series at two games apiece. The victory vaulted San Antonio from +450 to +300 to win the NBA Finals, while OKC remains the odds-on title favorite, though at a much more tenable -115 compared to the -165 it was before Sunday night's game. The Thunder are -220 to win the series to the Spurs' +180.

          The red-hot New York Knicks will seek to close out the Cleveland Cavaliers and win the Eastern Conference title, showing -6000 odds to do so compared to Cleveland's 20-1, bearing in mind that a team has never won an NBA playoff series after going down 3-0. New York has second-best +260 title odds, with Cleveland at an extreme long-shot 200-1.

          Roughly in line with the team future odds, each squad's superstar is a favorite to win Finals MVP. Regular-season MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the way at -110, with Victor Wembanyama (+320), Jalen Brunson (+380) and Karl-Anthony Towns (18-1) in chase..
