Things got a little interesting Tuesday night at the arena once known as SkyDome. First off, the Toronto Blue Jays blasted Baltimore Orioles starter Bud Norris for nine runs in 2 1/3 innings. Then Edwin Encarnacion hit his second home run of the game in the sixth -- a mammoth blast into the upper deck.

I think a lot of us feel the same way, Edwin. pic.twitter.com/m1FjBP79Gl

The invisible parrot comes out for the second time this game. I think Edwin Encarnacion just put a hole in the roof.

And then things got really interesting. In the seventh inning, Orioles reliever Jason Garcia threw one behind Jose Bautista. I don't think he was throwing at him; just a young kid with terrible control. Either way, the pitch drew a long stare from Bautista. Later in the at-bat he launched a two-run homer that included a bat flip that would embarrass Yasiel Puig. That apparently angered Adam Jones, who did some chirping at Bautista. Later, Bautista tried to throw Delmon Young out at first on a base hit to right, Young yelling out, "You're not that good." Good stuff.

Bautista's stare at the Orioles dugout after he crossed home was legendary.

Bautista. "Jones said my HR trot was bush league. I told him throwing behind me was bush league". #bluejays

Looks like we have another heated rivalry to watch the rest of the season. This is good. As long as nobody gets injured, a little bad blood is good for the game -- old school and all that. And I love bat flips. More bat flips are fine with me, especially when they come after a staredown with the pitcher.
