What a batting display for the Lightning as they powered to an 8 wicket win. After losing Tim Tector early, a 113 second wicket partnership off only 11 overs broke the back of the chase Balbirnie top scored with an excellent 81 off only 44 balls, finding some good form ahead of the International games against Pakistan at the end of the next week. Once again the Warriors total just wasn't enough to put any pressure on the Lightning batters. By chasing down the total so quickly, they pick up a bonus point to join the Knights at the top of the table. It won't surprise you to hear that Balbirnie has just been named the player of the match. Well deserved too. That's the end of our coverage today. Two huge wins by the Knights and the Lightning. I hope that you can join me tomorrow as both teams will be facing off. This is Justin Smyth saying goodbye from Dublin!
