9:17pm Right. That will be a wrap from us for this game. It promised so much, especially at the half-way stage but soon meandered towards a one-sided contest, although that was down to how clinical the Capitals were. Tomorrow, the Paarl Royals will be in action and they will clash against the Sunrisers Eastern Cape, currently placed second and hoping to keep pace with the Capitals. Until next time, this is me (Shashwat) signing off on behalf of everyone at ESPNcricinfo! Goodbye, goodnight and take care!
9:14pm A fairly comfortable victory for the Capitals in the end. MI Cape Town never really got going and the only time they looked to be in the contest in the second innings was when Brevis was at the crease. Once the youngster departed, van der Dussen could not take up the mantle and his 25-ball 24 did their chances more harm than good. The rest of the middle order also looked thin, and with the likes of Nortje and Parnell firing on all cylinders, MI Cape Town were, quite frankly, blown away.
Parnell also deserves plenty of praise for how he handled his resources. The gamble to bring Jacks on worked a charm, as did the ploy to persist with Rashid, despite him conceding 18 runs in his opening over. The Capitals, in short, won all the moments that mattered tonight and now sit comfortably atop the points table.

MI Cape Town are nine down now, with Rabada the last man in. Can Nortje finish it off in this over?
