That's it from us today. Hope you all enjoyed our coverage. Come back tomorrow for Eliminator. I am signing off on behalf of Sudeep. Take care and good night!
Sunrisers Eastern Cape are through to the final for the second time in a row! After seven hours, we have our first finalist of SA20 2024. SEC's win was largely due to their bowlers' performances and in particular, Baartrman and Jansen. The pace duo ripped through the Durban's Super Giants' batting line-up, sharing eight wickets between them. Worrall was excellent in his first spell. Markram took a sensational one-handed stunner to remove Smuts and even overall, fielding was to the point. Overall, they were the better organised team. Earlier, Malan's 63 dragged DSG to 157 for 8, which they felt was a below-par total after the rain break. But in the end, it proved enough to beat DSG by 51 runs. DSG will get a second chance in Qualifier 2, in Joburg on Thursday, when they meet the winner of Paarl Royals vs Joburg Super Kings.
