Corbin Bosch, Player of the Match: Happy to put in a performance when the team really needed it. We assessed the conditions really well quite early. (KG shared his insights on the pitch). We bowled well in partnerships. Nice to see how everyone was on the mark. (On qualification) It will be incredibly special. The competition hasn't gone the way we wanted... Good luck to Pretoria.

Phew. Finally, it's over. It was a riveting contest that ebbed and flowed throughout. Sunrisers were playing catch-up in this game, and had it not been for Jansen's quickfire knock, it might have been over much earlier, with MI Cape Town even having a good chance of staying in contention - they still do as three teams will compete for one spot. However, they couldn't put their foot on the gas paddle harder, and were unable to chase it down inside 16 overs, thus missing out on the opportunity to earn a bonus point. Hendricks and Linde breathed some life into the chase, and despite a hiccup down the order, they just had enough in the tank to get over the line. Sunrisers remain second, having already qualified for the playoffs while MI Cape Town move one step up to sixth. Credit to Sunrisers for making a game out of a low score and fighting till the end. The win, though, was set up by MI Cape Town bowlers, who were fantastic tonight, with the pacers right on top of their game.

Muthusamy to Bosch, 1 run, Pushed down on a length with no pace on middle, he creates room and backs away a lot, pulled to midwicket and dashes across to the other end, eked out a win by the barest of margin

Muthusamy to Rabada, (no ball) 1 run, Oversteps and that's a cardinal sin at this stage of the game. Pitched up outside off, he forehands it down to long-off

Muthusamy to Bosch, 1 run, Players in the dugout are feeling the heat, you can cut the tension with a knife. Floated from around and skidded on, outside off, pushed to long-off

Nortje to Hendricks, OUT, drops the pace and the change in pace works like a charm, length-ish ball floating in the corridor outside off, throws his bat at it and taken by the man at deep cover, flashed the cut but sent straight to Van Buuren - the sub. Now then, where is this game heading?

Nortje to Hendricks, no run, Useful dot. That leapt insanely off the deck in the channel, shorter thunderbolt flying away in the corridor, tries a swivel pull, beaten by the pace and searing bounce

Nortje to Bosch, 1 run, Pitched up and gets it to deviate in a touch at middle, punched to mid-on and it's a dicey call for a run, Jansen with a throw and it naturally took him a long time to fetch the ball, 147 kph btw
