Aiden Markram, Player of the Match: Quite late in the competition, which is a disappointing part of course, but it gives a glimmer of hope. The focus was on getting a really good result and I'm proud of the boys. We had a look at the track and felt it was going to be flat, and thought it would be tacky and stop in the pitch, but fortunately got a few in the end. Nice to put a full game of cricket together, a great bunch of players. There was a lot of drive today to put up a good game of cricket together. (On the crowd) All we can do is say thanks and appreciate them, turning out day in and day out, people sitting out for hours in the rain, so we appreciate it. Obviously we would have liked to play better at home, but their support is really well appreciated

Today was all about Aiden Markram! It will not only bode well for the Super Giants but is also a great sign for South Africa, with the T20 World Cup around the corner and runs under the belt are gold dust at this stage. Markram scored a well-paced, authoritative, valorous, nimble-footed ton that paved the way for an imposing total. His magnificent innings was laced with 12 fours and five sixes, striking at 186.20. Hardus Viljoen helped keep a little bit of a lid on the score by returning figures of 4-21, but the rest leaked plenty. In reply, the Royals' chase stuttered and stumbled, with no substantial innings, as they meandered their way to 131-9. Sunil Narine led the way with a tight spell, effectively stemming the run flow with 2-18, while Simon Harmer was on top of his game as well. Markram backed up his performance with the bat equally well with the ball, picking up 1-9 in two overs, and all in all, it was a complete bowling performance

Coetzee to Baartman, OUT, Another pitch-perfect toe-crusher, attempts a flick and apparently gets on the shoe, missed the flick and given straightaway by the umpire. He wants another look, only thing that can save him is a deflection so ultra-edge will solve the case. Well, there is no spike on the ultra-edge and there are three reds on the screen
