4.3 Straight up in the air, and Rashid gobbles it up! Slower through the air with the arm on the stumps, gets down on one knee early and tries to heave it away, miscues the stroke with the toe-end of the bat towards long on. Rashid Khan tracks back from mid-on and collects it using the reverse cup technique. 37/2
1.2 And Rabada is back in business! Slight fuller length ball on 132 clicks shaping a wee bit away around the fifth stump line, Parsons plays the front foot drive and the left hand goes off, playing it away from the body, outside edges and Rickelton completes the catch behind the stumps. 4/1
14.4 Boult finds the breakthrough! Pace off the ball outside the off stump line, 110 kph, attempts the reverse ramp over the infield, did not get enough pace to work with, connects the sticker part of the bat and then onto the glove, picks out the short third fielder at the edge of the circle. Hope gives a helpless smile and walks back slowly towards the dressing room. 126/4
5.3 A ripper from van der Dussen! Slight fuller and offers width outside off, pace off the ball, plays a loose cover drive away from the body and strikes it aerially to the left of short cover. Van der Dussen lunged to his left and snatched it with both hands! That ball was travelling like a rocket, but it stuck to his palms like a magnet. 38/3
15.3 Rabada gets the big fish! A tad fuller length ball on the middle-leg stump line, and Lubbe tries to hoick it across the line over the on-side area, miscues the stroke and skies it high to mid-on. Four fielders were closing in on the ball, but Reeza Hendricks won the race from long on. Sprinting forward like a flash, he launched into a full-stretch dive and managed to pouch the ball just inches before it hit the turf. That is a truly spectacular, world-class catch! 134/5

7.3 der Dussen departs! A fraction short of a length ball on the leg stump line, clears the front leg and tries to whip it over midwicket, connects with the toe-end of the bat and Brevis comes forward to pouch the catch just outside the 30-yard ring. 73/2
5.2 Slower ball does the trick! Rickelton shouts in disappointment right after hitting the stroke. It was a length ball on the stumps; he tries to hoick it across the line but miscues the stroke to deep square leg, fielder comes around and completes the catch. 60/1
9.4 Rutherford strikes! Slower bouncer outside off, waits for it and bludgeons it flat towards deep cover, Parsons walks forward a few steps and gobbles it up. Shaun Pollock at the Capitals' dressing room jumped in excitement! 112/4
8.3 Maharaj has the last laugh, Pooran bites the dust! Loops up a fuller length ball around middle-leg, gets down on one knee early and plays the slog sweep, committing to the shot early and sweeping it aerially to the deep backward square leg fielder. 100/3
11.2 "Catch it!" is the cry, and it is taken at deep third! Widish length ball outside off, clears the front leg and throws his bat at it, thickish outside edge and slices it to the off-side ring fielder. Lubbe comes forward and dives in to hold on to it. 117/6
10.1 cleaned him up with a beaut! Gets purchase and drift as Maharaj pitches the good length ball on the middle-off stump, turns a wee bit away and goes past the outside edge as Smith tries to play the front foot drive. Smith shakes his head and trudges back to the dugout. 113/5
11.6 You just can't keep Rutherford out of the game today! Bowls a slower ball in the slot around the off stump line, and Pretorius hoicks it high in the air to long on, the fielder settles underneath and pouches it. 124/7

12.4 Golden duck for Rashid Khan! Generously flighted length ball pitching well outside off, Rashid shimmies down the track and gets nowhere near the ball as it turns away, wild swing and a miss, and Hope does the rest behind the stumps. 125/8
13.4 Rutherford picks up his 4th scalp! Widish slower bouncer ball and Rabada tries to slice it over the infield, fails to time it well and power it, chips it straight to the cover ring fielder 134/9
14.2 Boult holes out at long on! Hard length ball on the stumps, backs away and swings it hard to widish long on, fielder comes around and gobbles it up comfortably near the ropes. A dry, helpless smile from the cheerful Boult, and that's the end of Cape Town's innings. The Pretoria Capitals have well and truly spoiled the New Year's Eve party for MI Cape Town! In a dominant performance, they officially opened their account on the points table with a thumping victory over the home side. 135/10
