MI have made, amends in some style too. DC will hope to do the same tomorrow as they face Gujarat Giants. All teams have now played a game at least, so the comp is under way proper. Hope your favourite player and team and has done well and will do well. Do follow us as we experience it all. Thanks for joining tonight. Take care, goodnight.

Harmanpreet Kaur, POTM and MI captain: It was a great game for us. Very disappointed yesterday, today we came out with a harder mindset. I got a start yesterday. Today, I had to go with the same positive mindset though. I'm enjoying my batting, gotta give credit to the India team. We have a long line-up there and here too. Last game, it was a matter of one good ball, we weren't able to unfortunately. It's about believing yourself and doing it in the right time. Every wicket made me happy. Nothing better than that in T20s.

Jemimah Rodrigues, DC captain: We were good with the ball, but batting we didn't get partnerships. We'll work on that. It's a different team, we can't be too harsh on us. I know we will bounce back. I did have fun captaining. To be here, in front of my parents and at home was great. Tough start. Low turnoaround is a good thing as we won't dwell on it. A good team keeps such games aside. We hope to do that.

10:43pm An easy win for MI. Didn't look like that was on the cards at the start of the innings given how strong DC's batting is. Five MI bowlers among the wickets. NSB started it all with the wicket of Lee. Then Carey got Shafali and Wolvaardt with a couple of jaffas that seamed back in. Ismail got a bit of help from Kamalini, who took a specky, to get Rodrigues. All four of those DC wickets went down in the powerplay, which was the first time that's happened. Carey's bowling and batting makes her a player tough to drop when Hayley Matthews is fit again. Henry's fifty reduced the win margin to 50, but it was on off-day with the bat for DC.
