10:55pm And that will be all from us for tonight. We will be back tomorrow with more WPL action, and that promises to have ramifications too. Until next time, from all of us here at ESPNcricinfo, it is goodbye!

Grace Harris, Player of the Match: Just really glad to be classified as an all-rounder (smiles). Really happy when Smriti said I was going to bowl. Working on a few things with my batting and happy that I have reverted to old patterns, and not thinking about it much and really enjoying it. (On what these tweaks are) Mainly my head position. Have done some slight technical tweaks and then tactically as well, how best to face certain bowlers. Have tried to not overthink and be free, and that has helped me (target some different areas). (Batting against spin) We go through the tactical side on how to approach spinners, whether you play from the crease or step out. Trying not to overthink. I am fairly powerful, so I am in an advantageous position, where I can back my best shot to clear the boundaries. Just trying to cash in whenever I can. (Batting with Mandhana) When we glove tap, I am usually the one using all the oxygen (laughs). She just lets me talk and say whatever I need to. She helps me focus and by telling me what the bowlers might do.

Smriti Mandhana, Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain: It was brilliant. They started well with the bat. From there, good comeback from the bowlers. Big mention to Grace. Everyone came in, bowled extremely well. Nadine again, bowled extremely well. When they bowl like that, it is a pleasing sight to watch. Last two games, we just told ourselves to not think emotionally and dig a hole. In tournaments (like this) you have to give (credit) to the other players (like NSB against us). We said the same thing (that we just need one more win) and nothing changed. Support staff is consistent with what they speak and how they treat everyone, so it helps the players. Happy we could get that win and go straight to the final. First 3-4 days, everyone can do what they feel like doing and then come back, train hard and get ready for the final.

Yuvraj: "So for the first time in 4 seasons, Meg Lanning won't walk to toss at a WPL final."

Meg Lanning, UP Warriorz captain: (Where it went wrong) Disappointing. Got a reasonable platform with the bat but could not carry on. Been a common theme unfortunately in the tournament. Not ideal with the bat and we did not get going with the ball. RCB were very good, we did not quite put out our best. Every time we have gotten some momentum with the bat, we have given it away and made it easy for the opposition. In T20 cricket, when you get batters in, you need to keep going and capitalise, including me. (On when Harris and Mandhana are batting well) They batted excellently (and capitalised whenever we erred). (On the schedule and if the long break played a part in today's result) It is what it is. Don't think it played a major role. No excuses tonight. RCB played us tonight and we were just not good enough tonight.

Lauren Bell: We started the tournament really strong. Happy to get the win and get straight to the final. Nice to get a bit of downtime (before the final next week). (On her bowling) Feel I'm in good rhythm. Really clear on my role. Glad I could contribute to the team. (On Deepti opening and what goes through her mind in such situations) We weren't sure who would open, so we had prepared for a few options. (On bowling to LHBs) First option is to hit them on the pad (and then run one across to bring slip into play). (On the pitch) Definitely better than the first game. There was a bit more bounce for me. Pace-off works as well. Overall a good pitch. We would have gotten a good score if we batted first. (On being swapped out of short fine leg before Deepti was dismissed) Did not ask for it, I got swapped (smiles). It was a bit of a hotspot, and if there was a chance, we wanted Nadine in there.

Shadow-Shell: "Clinical and Classy? What about Graceful"

10:29pm Clinical and classy. Those two words sum up this run-chase. Harris and Mandhana made it look ridiculously easy and at no point did it seem that UPW would cause a flutter. Such was the opening pair's dominance and such was their conviction, which was a far cry from what UPW accomplished when they had the bat in their hands.

Nothing, therefore, to write home about for UPW from a bowling perspective. Their bowlers ran out of answers and runs. They were also quite inconsistent and that, at the cost of a cliche, sums up how their 2026 campaign has panned out.

Sharma to Mandhana, FOUR, Mandhana lands the final blow, and RCB will have a shot at a 2024 encore! And that, for all intents and purposes, might just be that for UPW this campaign! Lobbed up on a length outside off. Mandhana drops down to one knee and mauls it over mid wicket. A convincing shot to ice another convincing run-chase and RCB, who were flagging prior to today, now have the perfect momentum boost heading into the final next week!

Ghosh walks out. Mandhana on strike, though

Srihari : "Good luck to whichever team meets this RCB team in the final"

Sobhana to Voll, OUT, goes straight up, and Voll perishes with the scores level! Asha deceives Voll in flight completely. On a length on middle and off. Dips on Voll late and she is nowhere near the pitch of the ball. Has a hack across the line and the ball skews up off the top edge. Simran settles under it at mid off and does the rest. Only delaying the inevitable, though!

Sobhana to Mandhana, 1 run, another regal half-century for the RCB skipper! Tossed up outside off. Mandhana advances and eases it to long off. Another terrific knock!

Sobhana to Mandhana, no run, leg-spinner on a back of a length just outside off. Spins back, cramps the batter and Mandhana can only prod it into the off side

Sobhana to Mandhana, no run, slow, short and wide outside off. Mandhana waits an eternity for it before punching it towards cover
