Australia level the multi-format series at four points apiece. Both sides head to Hobart for a Friday-Sunday double-header in Tasmania. This is turning into a tight series. Hope you can join us on Friday. Thanks for your company today.
8.24pm Presentation
Australia captain Alyssa Healy: "Pretty pleased with that. A little bit was put on us about how we were going to bounce back after the T20 series and I think to come out and play the way we did today was clinical. Proud of the group for the bounce back and we've got to do it all again in Hobart."
India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana: "We started with the bat losing wickets which is hard. But I thought we did well to fight back. The wicket didn't play the way we thought it would. It was a little different wicket to what we expected. I think Harmanpreet will be fine."
Beth Mooney is player of the match: "I thought Midge did a really good job getting herself in and getting a score and for us to build a partnership was really, really nice. We've batted a lot together. She makes my life easy. The pitch was doing a little bit. We weren't unhappy to bowl first. Tough wicket to bat on but if you gave yourself time then you got rewarded for it."
8.16pm A statement win from Australia to level the multi-format series. They win by six wickets with 70 balls remaining. A very impressive chase led by Mooney and Healy. Sutherland and Litchfield made good contributions as well. India could not sustain pressure at both ends with Charani's double strike the only real moment that threatened. The game was set up by Australia's bowling performance. India might rue their call at the toss as batting was much easier under lights. Harmanpreet Kaur's knee injury is also a concern as she did not take the field in the second innings.
