9:58pm Well, that was an absolute hammering. Australia mauled their way to 410, riding on their skipper's brilliance (who got a 158 in her last-ever ODI) and Mooney's adroitness. And India, hunting a mountain of runs, were never really in the chase. Mandhana fell for a duck and though Rawal and Rodrigues threatened for a bit in the powerplay, none of the batters got into any sustained rhythm to rattle Australia, which eventually led to a bit of a blockathon at the end, with India just trying to bat out their quota.

Australia will be chuffed with this result. Their batters set it up and their bowlers powered home the advantage. King was the pick of the bunch, with Wareham also helping herself to a couple of scalps at the end. Carey, meanwhile, removed Mandhana early, and that set the tone for what was a commanding performance.

No surprise that Alyssa Healy is player of the match [More fun batting or bowling?] Oh, bowling for sure. It didn't take much to get talked into either. I heard my name mentioned once and I said, righto. But just to finish the ODI leg the way we did makes me really proud and I'm looking forward to heading to the WACA now and getting stuck in with a pink ball. [On her innings] I just think what a ridiculous sport we play that it can kick you down so many times and then give you opportunities like it has today. I've hated every milestone match so today was just sort of an opportunity to go out and enjoy it and it was one of the more enjoyable experiences I've had. So thanks to the cricket gods for that and that's a nice way to sign off in the yellow."

Harmanpreet Kaur I think overall we didn't play good cricket. I think in the T20 we were doing all the things right and I think in ODI we didn't play good cricket. I think that is something which cost us ... I think ODI is something, it's a long game and you have to keep doing the right things again and again. I think we kept making too many mistakes and credit goes to Australian team also because they really played good cricket and they didn't give us chance to bounce back. But I think a lot of learning is for us and definitely when we go back and think how we have to go about in the ODI cricket.

So it's 8-4 in the multi-format series, Australia retain the trophy (last played for in 2021) and the best India can do is draw with a Test victory. We'll be back for all the action from the WACA but for now, from Gnasher and Shashwat, it's goodbye and thanks for joining us.

Wareham to Shree Charani, OUT, googly does it for Charani, and Australia thump India to clinch a clean sweep in the ODI series! This is a nicely tossed up wrong'un. Charani has no idea about it and goes searching for this fullish ball on the stumps. Gets beaten completely and hears the rattling of timber soon after. Glum faces in the Indian camp, and this has been an utterly dominant display by the former world champions against the current world champions!

Gardner to Shree Charani, 1 run, slot ball on leg stump. Charani winds up and launches it over mid on. The ball plugs a little, though, and Litchfield, running around from deep mid wicket, can rein it in

Gardner to Shree Charani, SIX, Charani goes big! Lobbed up into the slot on leg. Charani gets her front foot out of the way and slugs it just over the wide long on fence!
