9.55pm Another terrific performance from Afghanistan. They have wrapped up the series 2-0, with one game to go. After racking up 189 for 4, Afghanistan bossed the powerplay in the second innings too, keeping WI to 29 for 1 in six overs. Hetmyer then threatened to turn the tables on Afghanistan with a six-laden 46 off 17 balls. Farooqi, though, stopped Hetmyer's six barrage and then ceded the stage to Mujeeb, who bagged a hat-trick to firmly tilt it Afghanistan's way. Mujeeb became the third Afghanistan bowler, after Rashid and Janat, to pick up a hat-trick in T20Is. Plenty to ponder for WI in the lead-up to the T20 WC in India and SL. That's all we have for you from this game. Do come back tomorrow for the third - and final - T20I in Dubai. Until then, this is Deivarayan Muthu signing off on the behalf of Sreshth Shah and K Vairavan. Goodbye and good night
Rashid, Afghanistan captain: It was a different challenge. WI are special in the T20 format and we had to comeback as a team after a bad Asia Cup. This prep will help us in the World Cup. In these conditions, length and line is important. The middle-order partnership makes me happy and that's the area we were working on till the 14th over. So happy how Rasooli took responsibility and everyone chipping in. It's about how much effort we can put in the ground and keep hitting the right length. Hetmyer started hitting and things were different. You have to put the effort till the last ball, something that we did today.
Mujeeb is the Player of the Match. Rashid steps in as the translator. "Congrats to everyone for the series win. The plan was to keep it simple and hit the stumps. Happy with the hat-trick. Didn't know I was on a hat-trick and I was just looking to hit the right areas. Good prep for us before the World Cup and West Indies are a good side. This win will give us more energy.
King, WI captain: Hetty played a fantastic innings, but after he got out, I had to be the person finishing it. The fielding has been a disappointment but that's something we keep working on. As professionals, we will look to improve tomorrow. We were just trying to target the short boundary with the left-right combination.
