Thanks for joining us. History for Ireland. Agony for Iyer's Indian team. From Ashish and myself, it's goodbye, have a good evening/night, folks.

It's time for the presentations

Jay Moondra is the Player of the Match for his three-for.

Jay Moondra also wins the Player of the Series for his five wickets.

"Still sinking in," Moondra says. "Amazing feeling. Credit to the team management [for backing me]. Everyone have ups and downs, just got to hang in and keep going through. They've made me feel like I'm one of them. Great environment, good people. Still trying to process it."

Lorcan Tucker: "Can't quite believe it, challenged the lads to show the world we could do it again, and we did it. We came out with the same intent as the previous game. We showed that cricket can be simple and you don't need to complicate it. We have a lot of lads with very few caps but they showed great character. We are so lucky to have these games against India. It is a great time to be a professional cricket in Ireland."

Shreyas Iyer: "Still definitely not a great series. Kudos to them, the way they played. Showed professionalism, had tremendous idea of how wicket was going to play and playing to the fields. I feel our bowlers were phenomenal with their execution, fell short in analysing how the wicket play while we batted."

Manu is magnanimous in defeat: "Both men and women teams disappointed all Indian cricket fans today. But take a bow to Ireland. A day to go into their history books and a day to cherish for a long long time"

Cheeky Arindam says: "Well done Indian team. You have paved the way for Vaibhav's entry to the team which is a certainty now. The decision has been taken out of the hands of the team management. Great job."

5.50pm One of the greatest weekends in Irish cricket history! Both games, they've defended totals India would've backed themselves to chased down. Ireland have brought to a grinding halt India's streak of 16 consecutive T20I series wins. Lorcan Tucker & co - take a bow. To beat India without five of your first-choice players and a weakened attack - an incredible feat.

Ireland's stars walk around the ground to acknowledge the support they've received from their fans. What incredible stories, none more exciting and heartwarming than Jay Moondra, who picked up the top three to scupper India's chase. His family back in Rajasthan must be over the moon.

Shreyas Iyer's first taste of T20I captaincy has begun in defeat.

HT Tector to Prince Yadav, SIX, he has hammered this straight down the ground for six! Prince's first ball in international cricket is a memorable one, but not of the kind he would've liked. India, the reigning T20 World Champions, have been trounced 2-0 in Belfast. What an incredible result for the hosts.

HT Tector to Harshit Rana, OUT, he has slammed this straight to Tim Tector at long-on! This was bowled across Harshit from around the stumps, he swung through off the high full toss but didn't get the power he would've liked to clear the shorter straight boundary. He must be livid with himself, not Ireland. They can smell the toffee. Ireland are nearly home, a historic series win beckons Won't see Ireland celebrate conceding a six too often like that, but what a moment.

HT Tector to Harshit Rana, 1 run, fired full and across, hit it down to long-on. Didn't get the elevation he needed

India need 11 off 4. Can Harshit be the hero?

HT Tector to Harshit Rana, FOUR, off a thin edge, through the keeper's legs and that runs away for four! Rana swung to the leg side, got a thin inside edge and gets a fortuitous boundary.
