But on that note, it's a wrap from us. On behalf of Hemant and the rest of the team that have pitched in right throughout this Test and series, this is Madushka signing out.

So the trophy has been presented to warm applause, and the team celebrates together. It's been a series victory a long time coming, and no one would argue that world cricket is better with a strong and competitive West Indian outfit. They will be hoping this is turning point in their red-ball fortunes, as for Sri Lanka, it was a depleted bowling lineup, yes, but Dhananya's comments for the need of an x-factor in the bowling lineup was telling. Lahiru Kumara's injury early in the first Test certainly didn't help, but a lot of Gary Kirsten and his staff to ponder ahead of their next series which will be at home against India.

Roston Chase: "This is one of my greatest achievement in my career, and having not won against Sri Lanka in 23 years was the driving force for this to come and perform as we did. [your performance?] That's the beauty of sports, you can fail for a long time and then one day everything clicks. It's just a magnificent feeling to come and stand up for the team as a captain, and go out and do the hard yards as well. [trajectory of this team?] Very pleased with how the team is going. Usually the bowlers do the hard work, but in this series it was the batters that turned up with big centuries. That is what will take us forward as a Test playing nation. [memorable moment?] Kemar Roach's 300 wicket, was great to see the guys elated and just jumping on his back and he's just there taking it all in. [handing over captaincy to Hope?] Playing for West Indies is always an honour, as a captain or just as another player. So just looking forward to this next series."

Dhananjaya de Silva: "[bat first?] Wicket was a bit drier, and Prabath was playing so fourth innings was also in my mind. [Udara?] Didn't play first match, and was hungry to get back in the XI and get some runs. [anything different you could have done?] Not really, it wasn't turning that much either, and we don't really have that x-factor in the team. Someone bowling 140-145kph. [takeaways?] How to take 20 wickets, that's the only thing in my mind when playing Test cricket. For that we have to have that x-factor, to take wickets at anytime."

Player of the Match and Player of the Series goes to Justin Greaves: "I just wanted to bat for the team, we did some really good work in the lead up to the series. Had a really good challenge from the bowling group as well. [more 100s than 50s] Very, very simple - Kemar Roach. Simple words in the dressing room: stay hungry. Stay in because you don't know when you're next run is going to come from. Always try to capitalise when you're out in the middle. [familiar conditions] Always a nice batting pitch here, and try to capitalise once you get in. [red-ball to white-ball] Just stay disciplined. Pretty much the same for me all the time."

Madushka is here for the presentation ceremony.

5.03pm And that's it. As soon as the draw was on the table, both captains take it. West Indies, having won the first Test, take the series 1-0.
