- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR5.3 Harper holes out! And it is the youngster who has come up with the goods. Seems like a cutter banged into the track outside off. Harper tries to glide it over deep third but the lack of pace means he does not get the requisite distance. Wildermuth, stood a few yards inside the deep third fence, does the rest. Timely breakthrough for the Heat! 52/16.2 through him! Renshaw may have been brought on for the match-up and he has delivered. Arm-ball on a back of a length on off. The ball comes in with the angle and Rogers, anyway caught on the crease, cannot react in time. The ball breezes past and knocks back middle and leg, much to Renshaw's delight 56/215.5 Simple catch, and Bartlett gets the big fish! Fourth time Bartlett has accounted for Stoinis in the BBL. This is zipped in full on middle and leg. Stoinis wants to flick this through mid wicket but gets opened up in his stance trying to do so. The ball spoons off the leading edge and Balkin does the rest at cover. Huge wicket for the Heat! 134/511.4 Kellaway perishes, and Balkin has two! Not the greatest ball the youngster will ever bowl but it will do for now. Short, wide and Kellaway laces his square cut. The only problem, though, is he hits it aerially and in deep point's direction. No mistakes in the field this time and Balkin, who had fallen over in his follow-through, cannot quite believe he has two on the night! 109/312.1 superb by Peirson and Kuhnemann, and Maxwell is outta here! Tossed up on a length on middle and leg. Kuhnemann knows the reverse is coming. Probably everyone at the Gabba does. Maxwell shapes for it but seems to get either a glove or a scratch on it before the ball loops off the pad. Peirson tracks it all the way and then lunges forward to his right to snare the chance. Massive moment! 113/416.2 Two wickets in the Surge, and the Heat are turning things around! This is banged into the track, in and around off. Curran backs away, eyeing the open spaces over the off side ring. Cannot get under it enough, though, and can neither keep it down. A tame uppish chip to Munro at cover in the end, and Patterson has dented the Stars' charge further! 137/6Extras7 (lb 4, w 3)TOTAL195/6 (20 Overs, RR: 9.75)Fall of wickets: 1-52 (Sam Harper, 5.3 ov), 2-56 (Thomas Rogers, 6.2 ov), 3-109 (Campbell Kellaway, 11.4 ov), 4-113 (Glenn Maxwell, 12.1 ov), 5-134 (Marcus Stoinis, 15.5 ov), 6-137 (Tom Curran, 16.2 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR2.3 Wildermuth bites the dust! Hard length, following the batter outside leg. Wildermuth tries to help this on its way but is a touch cramped for room. Hitting to the bigger boundary too and Cartwright, stationed well inside the deep square leg fence, makes no mistake! 18/14.1 gloved and taken! Dug into the track outside leg and this seems like a change-up. Munro has a swipe at it but does not have a lot of pace to work with. Ends up gloving it and Harper flies high to his right to snaffle up the chance. Stars keep with another vital scalp! 34/211.6 clothed to mid on, and Siddle comes up with the goods yet again! Hard length just outside off. Seems to rush onto McSweeney and he cannot free his arms completely. A bit of a half-swing in the end and the ball spoons to Stoinis at mid on, who back-pedals and takes the catch in front of his face. Big moment in the game! 103/312.2 soft, soft dismissal, and the Stars tighten their grip further! Googly on a back of a length wide outside off. Renshaw is tempted into the cut again but this time, he slices across it way too much. Simple chance for backward point, and the Heat are in a spot of bother now! 107/412.6 Swepson has two in the over, and this chase is flagging! Fizzed through on a length outside off. Weibgen hangs back, trying to punch it through the off side. Too full to be going back, though, and the extra zip off the surface means that Weibgen can only feather it. Top grab by Harper, and the Heat are five down now! 109/515.4 catching practice for fine leg! Back of a length on middle stump. Peirson tries to repeat the dose but by staying on his feet this time. Peirson helps it away and Curran takes it, despite seeming to suggest that he lost it completely in the lights. Heat six down now, and staring down the barrel! 133/6Extras13 (lb 5, nb 1, w 7)TOTAL199/6 (19.4 Overs, RR: 10.11)Fall of wickets: 1-18 (Jack Wildermuth, 2.3 ov), 2-34 (Colin Munro, 4.1 ov), 3-103 (Nathan McSweeney, 11.6 ov), 4-107 (Matt Renshaw, 12.2 ov), 5-109 (Hugh Weibgen, 12.6 ov), 6-133 (Jimmy Peirson, 15.4 ov)
