1.5 Edged and gone. Byrom strikes early! Bowls the good length ball outside the fifth stump line, this time Dawkins stays inside the crease and tries to whisk it down with soft hands to the third man area, plays away from the body and connects the thick outside edge to the first slip fielder. The Australian skipper, Peake, pouches it comfortably. 3/1
12.2 Massive appeal and the finger goes up! Back of a length ball pitching around the off stump line and turning back in, playing off the back foot across the line and missing the length there, hitting the pad in front of middle-leg. Sharma is pumped up, and he has the last laugh, too, against Moores. 57/2

13.6 Bowled'em with a crackerjack! Full and straight bowls a scorching yorker on the stumps, Mayes walks forward a few steps and plays the front foot straight drive, shapes back in a wee bit and misses the line and length there, uproots the middle stump and England lose their best batter of the tournament! 60/3
42.2 is it a run out? Length ball outside the off stump. He is waiting for the ball and plays it late to backward point fielder. Hogan runs in and throws down the stumps. The throw hits the base of the stumps. Rew is short as he dives in to make his ground and is run out at the keeper's end. Only way that his innings could've ended 236/6
35.6 "Catch it" is the cry, and Peake grabs a stunner! Bowls a widish length ball turning away outside off, backs away and plays the square cut away from the body, connecting the toe-end of the bat and chipping it to the left of the cover fielder. Peake anticipated the loose shot and dove full-stretch to his left, grabbing the catch with a reverse-cup technique while still in the air. 195/4
40.3 fuller, flighted delivery outside the off stump. He looks to slog sweep and missed. Drags his backfoot outside the crease as he is looking to play the shot. Misses and the keeper whips the bails off. Brilliant stumping. 226/5

48.3 fuller ball on the leg stump line. He makes room and miscues the forceful stroke he wanted to play on the leg side. The top edge goes high up behind the stumps. Keeper settles under it and pouches it easily 266/7

5.4 Got him with a JAFFA! Full and straight delivery nips back in and bowls an inch-perfect yorker ball right in the block-hole, clears the front leg and tries to dig it out, hits the back leg right in front of the stumps and that looks plumb to me. French pleaded for the LBW, and finally, the umpire looked convinced and raised his finger. 32/1
24.3 beats him in flight as he looks to come down the track and meet it on the full. He gets beaten and the keeper is quick to whip the bails off. Superb bowling that. That took off after pitching. Good bit of keeping there as he collected it clean and took the bails off 109/3
12.3 Hogan's struggle with the bat comes to an end! Short pitched ball around the fifth stump line, tries to get on top of the bounce and plays the pull shot, fails to keep it down, and gets neither the elevation nor power that he would have wanted initially; picks out the short midwicket fielder, Dawkins, and departs. 47/2
47.3 England are throught to the final! Fuller ball outside the off stump. He looks to drive over the point fielder but ends up driving to the point fielder. Wait, the umpires in the middle are going to the third umpire if it was indeed a catch. The doubt is if pitched on impact and not on the legality of the catch. Replays show that he is out. Good sportsmanship by the England players to run to Peake to shake hands with him before celebrating 250/10
27.3 What.A.Catch! Short of a good length delivery outside the off stump. He pulls it to deep square-leg where Moores dives forward and takes a superb catch 116/4
31.4 Miscues in the air and Dawkins takes a sitter! You can't keep Lumsden away from the game! Banged in short pitched ball and Draper plays the pull shot half-heartedly, splices it in the air to midwicket and Dawkins makes no mistake inside the ring area. 134/5
37.4 Caught at deep midwicket! Generously flighted slower through the air ball in the slot, turns in sharply and throws the kitchen sink at it with the slog sweep; right hand goes off the bat's handle and miscues the stroke high in the air towards the cow corner area, and the sweeper fielder gobbles it up with ease. Massive wicket! 180/6
40.4 Morgan strikes! Length ball in the slot outside off, it was there to be hit as the mid-off fielder was standing inside the circle. Schiller plays the lofted stroke and does not get quite hold of it, fails to clear the infield and finds the mid-off fielder. Albert moves to his right a few steps and pouches the catch. 201/7
42.1 And Albert gets his second scalp! Bowls a harmless length ball pitching well outside off, Cooray stays inside the crease and slashes it flat and hard towards the short cover fielder. Dawkins dived forward, fully stretched, and gobbled it up comfortably. Australia in deep trouble now. 207/8
46.1 length ball on the stumps. He is looking to push it and get the strike back to Peake. Beaten and bowled. That's superb bowling under pressure by Morgan. 246/9
