6:20pm That's all from here. Get on over to India vs West Indies as we enter the knock-out stage of this World Cup a match ahead of schedule...

6:47pm Proteas captain Aiden Markram is speaking with Mpumelelo Mbangwa: "Some good things to take and very grateful for the win as well.

"It's tricky but the least you can do is give opportunities to the guys who have been working hard behind the scenes. You never know if you're going to use them, but now they have experience under their belt. From a batting POV, we'll take what we can from it.

"It's exciting. Really exciting - a semi-final in Kolkata against New Zealand. The boys will be up for it. It's still 40 overs of good cricket needed and we need to give it that respect."

6:39pm Before the captain's presentations, India have won the toss against West Indies and will bowl first at Eden Gardens. Huge game to finish off the Super Eight round to determine the final semi-final spot. Proper winner takes all bout, which you can follow with us over here

6:33pm You've all called for it - and the powers that be haven't disappointed. Sikandar Raza is player of the match, with 73 from 43 and 3 for 29: "My immediate reflection is that I shouldn't be here! I've never got a man of the match for losing a game. We took a bit of a beating in the last two games but each beating came with valuable lessons. We take these valuable lessons, go home and hopefully come back strong and better.

"I thought 180 would be par on that wicket because it was slightly on the skinny, low side. I thought maybe 170, 175 would be a very good total on that wicket. True to that, if we got to that, I thought it would be a very interesting game.

"Without the wickets or the runs, if the leader stands up it gives a lot of confidence to the team."

6:30pm Matthew: "Zimbabwe really tried their best to finish on a high. Kudos to them for a commendable effort after two real pastings, and hopefully they come back stronger in 2028!"

Anjan: "SA is the team to beat in this tournament."

Muzarabani to Stubbs, 2 runs, Hacked agway through square leg and South Africa triumph by five wickets! They will face New Zealand in the first semi-final on Wednesday in Kolkata. Things were tense at the start, 14 for 2 and then 43 for 3 in the sixth over, but they have cantered to victory with 13 balls to spare. The Proteas head into the semi-finals with their 100 per cent record in tact, having rung the changes. A professional win before they head to Kolkata. For Zimbabwe, a sterling effort particularly from skipper Sikanda Raza his 3 for 29 coming after 73 with the bat.

And it's a no ball... Free Hit to finish?
