13.1 Whoddathunk it, offie gets the set right-hander. Samson will walk back to a nice ovation. Was a wide 89ks length ball, slanting away due to that around-the-wicket angle. Samson reaches out and looks to slap it, gets it off the bottom of the bat. Salt, at sweeper cover, takes it. Some respite for England 160/3
1.6 Abhishek holes out! Offspin his kryptonite again! There's only one man out there but Jacks sends it straight down his throat. The stadium goes quiet as Abhishek walks off forlornly. Match-up gold from England, although on another day that ball disappears over deep midwicket for six 20/1
9.3 Kishan holes out, Rashid does the job for England! Front of the hand, sliding on as Kishan looks to launch downtown. Big miscue into the Mumbai sky and Jacks makes no mistake trotting in from long-off. England finally break the second-wicket stand 117/2
17.3 Direct hit, gone! Hardik puts up his hand in apology. He called Dube for the run, then said no. Dube went halfway down the pitch and as he ran back, Brook came in to short midwicket and threw the non-striker's stumps direct. Was a yorker on middle and leg that was jammed 212/5
15.4 Bowled or stumped? SKY's walking either way. Stumping. Googly on a fullish length, lands outside off and goes under the sweep before spinning in a touch. Buttler whips off the bails before the bat can go back even in the air. 190/4
19.5 Fires a low full toss on leg, Hardik plinks a flick that dribbles towards midwicket. Hardik charges full speed but the throw was almost a direct hit. Made Buttler's whip-bails job easier. Still a decent knock from Hardik 251/7
18.5 Silenced with a yorker. 149ks, scrambled seam, Tilak didn't get down, tried to lift the ball over long-on. Got a thin inside edge, didn't stop it from hitting leg stump. Good cameo ends 236/6

1.1 sliced, and taken on the edge of the ring! Hardik strike first ball. Full outside off and there's some swing. Salt aims a wallop down the ground and skies it into the covers. Can't hang around in a 250-chase... and Salt doesn't 13/1
5.5 bowled him! Buttler's mojo isn't coming back. Flighted googly, 95kph/60mph, hits the top of middle stump as Buttler heaves blindly. Varun smiles, maybe breathes a sigh of relief. This was Buttler's highest score since the opening game against Nepal, but he was nowhere near connecting with a swingeing blow down the ground 64/3
4.1 brilliantly held running back! Bumrah strikes first ball now. Slower one, completely dupes Brook as he goes hard through the shot. Axar has to run yards and yards back from point, watching the ball drop over his shoulder, and then takes a sprawling catch in front of the packed stands! Superb from Bumrah, matched by his fielder 38/2
19.1 That has to be the game! Bethell has tried to steal a second that was never on and is run out by miles! He buries his face in the ground and doesn't get up after the dive, not for a while at least. Was a near yorker on off that was driven flat to Hardik at long-off, good throw. On the bounce, to the keeper. 225/7
7.3 Axar roars, you miss, I hit! Tossed up a bit higher, and it dips under the attempted slog-sweep to rock leg stump! Pace down to 84kph/52mph and Bantons loses his shape, loses his wicket. Now he wears the frown. England lose their fourth wicket inside eight overs 95/4
13.6 Another stunner from Axar, this one's a relay! Ran to the left from deep cover, then threw the ball to Dube coming in from the other side. Axar caught the ball while taking big steps, got over the boundary but only after one-hand throwing it. Every fielder sprints and swarms him. Was a wide, low full toss that Jacks slice-drove with decent timing. 172/5
18.3 Taken on the midwicket boundary. Low full toss on leg stump, Curran did get under it but swayed the bat under it rather than muscle it. Tilak was on the boundary, stayed just inside while taking the catch high and looking back 222/6
