So, another game is done and dusted. On behalf of our scoring master, Binoy George, this is Rvel Zahid signing off. Do join us on Saturday for the double-header! Goodbye for now.
An excellent performance from the Saint Lucia Kings, who have made a strong comeback within just 24 hours after their defeat against the Tallawahs. Having posted an imposing total of 201 on a slow surface, they got a dream start by dismissing Cornwall early. The game was won in the powerplay, as Royals lost wickets in quick succession. It proved to be the major turning point. Mathew Forde delivered a menacing spell of bowling, prising out three wickets in the powerplay and causing lots of panic in the Royals' ranks. Powell-led side succumbed to the pressure from the scoreboard and could never recover from the early setback. Despite Young's valiant fifty towards the end, which helped reduce the blow to the net run rate, the overall batting performance was quite abysmal.

Ravi: "I think this chase got derailed when Rakeem got run/walk out. Poor from Royals"
Kareem : "I think it would be a good idea for westindies to select Cornwall on the t20 international side "
