Well, folks, the live feed has wrapped up here before we could catch the skippers' post-match thoughts. That completes all the action from North Sound, Antigua, for this year's CPL. Thank you all for tuning in today and staying with us throughout the game. Time to sign off - adios!

Player of the Match, Joshua James: "[What were the bowling instructions?] It was just to keep it simple. Use the bigger side of the ground, use the variations, and hopefully that would work. [Favorite wicket today] I would say Sherfane Rutherford. I know he's a very dangerous man, so to get him first ball was very special for me. [Secret to Joshua James' golden arm] I think just consistency, plenty of spot bowling, knowing where I want to pitch the ball, and using the variations right. [Message to the crowd] Yeah, I would like to thank all the Falcons fans for coming out over the past four days to support us. The energy was tremendous, and I hope to see you all again next time."

10:38 pm The Tridents lost both openers inside the powerplay, managing 45 runs in the first six overs as Joseph dismantled the top order with sheer pace. De Kock fell just after the powerplay, attempting a slog sweep against Cornwall only to be caught at short third. Clarke and Anderson then steadied the ship with a 39-run partnership before Springer's individual brilliance in the field brought it to an end, holding onto a diving catch to dismiss Anderson for 23. That triggered a total collapse for the Tridents. James struck twice in back to back deliveries to remove Anderson and Rutherford, and Shadab followed up in the very next over by removing Clarke for 27. Losing four wickets in the space of six balls essentially sealed their fate, and the Tridents never recovered. James was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets, while Moqim, Shadab, and Joseph claimed two apiece, alongside one from Cornwall in a dominant, all-round bowling effort from the Falcons. With this victory, the Falcons end the Tridents' unbeaten streak, wrap up their home leg on a high, and leap to the top of the table.

John: "Such lazy, bad batting since the terrible decision off the "catch" This game could still have been won in singles and twos "

Sufyan Moqim to Simmonds, OUT, Cleaned him up! Done him with the googly! Simmonds goes for a slog sweep across the line, gets nowhere near the ball, and watches his middle-leg bails fly. Celebrations erupt for the Falcons as the dugout and the stands go wild for the home team. Chris Green, the Tridents' skipper, remains unbeaten at the non-striker's end, watching the dramatic collapse unfold helplessly and shaking his head in disbelief. The Falcons now head out for a lap of honor, clapping towards the home crowd; a touch of class!
