Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), down and seemingly out for the best part of IPL 2026, are alive and kicking, and put on a batting masterclass against Gujarat Titans (GT) on Saturday. Here's the story of the match in numbers.

247 for 2 - KKR's total against GT at Eden Gardens on Saturday, which is their third-highest in the IPL. It is also the highest total by any team against GT, bettering the 243 for 5 by Punjab Kings (PBKS) in 2025.

22 - Total sixes that KKR struck on Saturday night, the joint-second-highest by any team in an IPL innings. The highest is 24 by PBKS against KKR in 2024, also at Eden Gardens.

GT hit only 12 sixes in the chase along with 16 fours, only four more than KKR's 12.

6 - Batters to score a fifty on Saturday - Finn Allen, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Cameron Green, Shubman Gill, B Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler, the first T20 game to have that record.

There have been 20 previous instances of five batters making fifty (or more) in a T20 game, including seven in the IPL.

2 - Allen, Raghuvanshi and Green became only the second KKR trio to score fifties in an IPL innings, after Gill, Chris Lynn and Andre Russell against Mumbai Indians (MI) in 2019. Saturday was also only the second instance of three GT batters scoring fifties in an IPL game. Gill, Buttler and Washington Sundar did it against Delhi Capitals (DC) earlier this year.

4 - Instances of Allen hitting ten or more sixes in a T20 innings. He hit exactly ten sixes during his 93-run knock on Saturday. Only Chris Gayle (18) and Abhishek Sharma (5) are ahead of Allen, while Evin Lewis, Karanbir Singh and Shreyas Iyer have also done it four times each.

Allen has hit ten sixes for the second time in IPL 2026, the first player with multiple such instances in an IPL edition. Overall, Gayle (4), Abhishek (2) and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (2) are the only other batters with multiple instances of ten or more sixes in an IPL innings.

57 - Runs that Rashid Khan conceded in his four overs on Saturday, the most he has ever conceded in his 149-match IPL career. Only once has he conceded more runs in a T20 game - 59 against Birmingham Phoenix in 2025.

78 - Innings that Sai Sudharsan took to complete 3000 runs in T20 cricket, the quickest to this milestone in terms of number of innings. Shaun Marsh was the previous fastest, having reached in 85 innings.

200 - Saturday's game between KKR and GT was Sunil Narine's 200th appearance in the IPL. He is the first overseas player to feature in 200 IPL matches, and overall the 13th to do so. Narine was named Player of the Match, the second to achieve the feat in his 200th game, after Shikhar Dhawan.

8 - Instances of Mohammed Siraj conceded 50 or more runs in an IPL game. Only Mohammed Shami (9) has more such instances, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar also has conceded 50 or more on eight occasions.

Siraj conceded only 25 runs in his first three overs without getting hit for a six, but gave away that many in his last over, including three sixes.

Rashid, meanwhile, conceded 50-plus runs for the sixth time in his IPL career. Among spinners, only Yuzvendra Chahal (7) has conceded 50-plus runs in an IPL game as often.
