We are towards the end of the league stage in IPL 2026 and the race for the Orange Cap and the Purple Cap has only got intense. Here is how things stand after the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Friday.

Orange Cap leaderboard

Gujarat Titans' (GT) opening pair of B Sai Sudharsan (638) and Shubman Gill (616) still lead the Orange Cap race. But SRH's Heinrich Klaasen has jumped to No. 3 with his 51 off 24 balls against RCB. He now has 606 runs from 14 innings.

Rajasthan Royals' (RR) Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is at No. 4 with 579 runs, followed by another SRH batter, Ishan Kishan. Kishan scored 79 off 46 balls against RCB and is now fifth with a tally of 569.

Purple Cap leaderboard

RCB quick Bhuvneshwar Kumar was wicketless on Friday, so he stays tied with GT's Kagiso Rabada at the top of the table with 24 wickets. Bhuvneshwar, though, has an economy rate of 8.07 compared to Rabada's 9.18, meaning the Purple Cap stays with him.

Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) Anshul Kamboj (21) and GT's Rashid Khan (19) are next on the list. SRH's Eshan Malinga, who took 2 for 33 against RCB, also bumped up his tally to 19 but since his economy rate, 9.27, is worse than Rashid's 8.71, he is fifth on the list.
