The relationship between Los Angeles sports stars Yasiel Puig and Jared Goff got off to a rocky start, but it appears to have been mended Monday.
Goff, the Los Angeles Rams' rookie quarterback taken No. 1 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft, threw out the first pitch at Dodgers Stadium with Puig on the receiving end.

Wearing his "#PUIGYOURFRIEND" t-shirt, Puig and Goff chatted on the field, shortly after Goff took some swings in batting practice with a number of other Rams first-year players like Pharoh Cooper, Josh Forrest, Temarrick Hemingway, Tyler Higbee and Mike Thomas.
"We made up a long time ago, but it was good to talk to him," Goff said. "He's a real cool guy. It was funny. It was something I tweeted when I was like 17 years old. He thought it was funny and it's cool to be down here. It's a good chance to meet him through that crazy way."
When Goff got the chance to take some cuts, he did not disappoint.

It was certainly better than Charles Barkley's cage session.
