Nearing the beginning of July, the Los Angeles Dodgers (+200) and New York Yankees (+500) remain a class above the rest of MLB for World Series futures, with the Seattle Mariners (10-1) and Atlanta Braves (11-1) continuing to challenge.

That said, the Philadelphia Phillies (11-1) and Milwaukee Brewers (12-1) have improved their championship odds considerably in recent weeks after starting in very different places this season. The Brewers began the campaign with 14th-best 35-1 World Series odds and have continued to shorten as they lead the NL Central. The Phillies, meanwhile, began the season at 16-1 and lengthened all the way out to 25-1 after a poor start.

The Tampa Bay Rays also improved from 20-1 to 16-1 in recent weeks, while the streaky Chicago Cubs shortened from 25-1 to 18-1 to round out the top eight. Meanwhile, the crosstown Chicago White Sox continue to charge up the odds board, making it to 50-1 to win the World Series after beginning the season at 500-1, tied for the worst odds in MLB.
