The Baltimore Orioles have re-signed right-handed reliever Logan Ondrusek to a one-year, $650,000 contract that includes a $1.5 million club option for 2018.
Ondrusek can earn $500,000 annually in performance bonuses under the agreement announced Tuesday: $100,000 each for 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 games. Baltimore had declined his $1.85 million option for 2017, triggering a $250,000 buyout, earlier this offseason.
Ondrusek, 31, appeared in seven games with the Orioles last season, posting a 9.95 ERA in 6⅓ innings. He previously was a member of the Cincinnati Reds from 2010 to '14 before pitching for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows of Nippon Professional Baseball in 2015.
