Nearly a month has passed since Jose Fernandez's tragic passing in a boating accident, but the 24-year-old star is still fresh on the minds of those who called him a teammate.
Miami Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton, joined by closer A.J. Ramos and former Marlin Ricky Nolasco (currently with the Los Angeles Angels), posted a photo to his Instagram account on Monday of the three of them and artist "TiTo na Rua" near Jose Fernandez-themed graffiti near Pompeu Loureiro in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Ramos and Nolasco also posted the image to their Instagram accounts.
Highlights of the art include the word "Niño," which Stanton affectionately referred to Fernandez as; Fernandez's No. 16 and years of life; the autographs of Stanton, Nolasco, Ramos and Fernandez; and the word "saudades" (Portuguese for "miss you") on a bat acting as a tilde.
On Tuesday, Stanton posted video of himself adding his autograph with spray paint.

The backdrop of the graffiti is water, as Fernandez was said to be passionate about boating and being out on the ocean.
