The Atlanta Falcons will make wide receiver Drake London one of the highest-paid players in franchise history.
The Falcons and London came to terms on a four-year, $141 million contract extension, including $100 million guaranteed, his agent Andrew Kessler of Athletes First told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.
London can earn up to $150 million if he reaches incentives in the deal, which will put him under contract with the Falcons through the 2030 season.
The $35.25 million average annual value of London's new deal makes him the NFL's third-highest-paid receiver behind the Seattle Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($42.15 million) and the Cincinnati Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase ($40.25 million).
London, 24, is set to play the 2026 season on the fifth-year option in his rookie contract, which is worth $16.82 million. The Falcons drafted London No. 8 in 2022 and he has 309 catches for 3,961 yards and 22 touchdowns in first four NFL seasons.
Last season, London sat out five games because of injury. He had 68 catches for 919 yards with seven touchdown catches in 12 games. In 2024, he was one of the most productive receivers in the NFL with 100 catches for 1,271 yards and nine touchdown catches despite large stretches of subpar quarterback play.
The Falcons now probably will turn toward trying to extend another franchise skill player: running back Bijan Robinson, who is heading into his fourth NFL season. The Falcons picked up Robinson's fifth-year option for the 2027 season in April.
They also have tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. playing on the franchise tag this season and also could look to extend him. The Falcons have until July 15 to sign Pitts to an extension or he will play this season on his franchise tender.
The London extension represents the first major deal done by the new Falcons front office, led by general manager Ian Cunningham and president of football Matt Ryan.
