Tijjani Reijnders has completed a move to Saudi Pro League club Al Qadsiah from Manchester City, just 12 months after joining the Premier League club in a €55 million (£47m / $64m) from AC Milan last summer.

Sources have told ESPN the 28-year-old's move to Al Qadsiah, who are managed by former Liverpool, Leicester and Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, is worth £52m ($70m).

"Two finals at Wembley and a season I'll always look back on. Thank you, City," he posted on Instagram.

The Netherlands international arrived at City as Serie A's player of the season and got off to a bright start but started only two league games from February until the end of last season.

Hopes were high for the midfielder after he scored a goal and registered an assist on his Premier League debut against Wolves in City's opening match of the 2025-26 season, but Reijnders only managed to find the back of the net seven times in his 47 appearances for the club.

Reijnders made three appearances for the Netherlands squad at the 2026 World Cup, starting the country's group games against Japan, Sweden and Tunisia.

He watched on from the bench as the Dutch were beaten by Morocco in a penalty shootout in the round of 32.
