Chelsea's list of squad numbers for the 2026-27 campaign has been released and Liam Delap has lost the No. 9 shirt to João Pedro.

Delap will now wear the No. 12 shirt.

João Pedro scored 20 goals in all competitions for the Blues last season, while Delap managed just one goal in the Premier League and one in the Champions League.

Delap joined Chelsea from Ipswich last June on a six-year deal but he will be allowed to leave Chelsea this transfer window should the Blues find an interested party, sources have told ESPN.

The former Ipswich striker had a disappointing debut season at Stamford Bridge.

João Pedro, meanwhile, is Chelsea's starting striker and was voted the club's player of the year last season.
