Arsenal near even-money favorites to win Premier League

Arsenal kick off their season as nearly even-money favorites to repeat as champions of the Premier League.

The Gunners are listed at +115 to win the EPL crown at DK Sports, followed by Manchester City (+370) and Liverpool (+550). Chelsea (+800) and Manchester United (+900) round out the teams with odd shorter than 10-1.

At sportsbook Hard Rock Bet, Arsenal has attracted twice as much money to win the title than any other team. However, at DK Sports, both Liverpool and Man City have received more support from bettors than the Gunners.

Arsenal outlasted Man City last season to win their first EPL title since 2003-04. The Gunners haven't won back-to-back titles in England's top-flight since the 1930s, according to ESPN Research. Arsenal host newly-promoted Coventry City on Friday in the opening match.

While Arsenal returns the core of his squad, rivals Man City and Liverpool enter a season of change. Both are adjusting to new managers and roster turnover.

Manager Enzo Maresca replaces City legend Pep Guardiola, who left after 10 seasons and 20 titles, including four straight EPL championships from 2020-21 to 2023-24. Striker Erling Haaland returns for City after starring in the World Cup. Haaland led the Premier League with 27 goals last season, five more than any other player. He is an odds-on favorite at -145 to win the Golden Boot again this season.

At Liverpool, manager Andoni Iraola takes over for Arne Slot, who was fired this offseason, one year after leading the Reds to the EPL title. Liverpool striker Alexander Isak is the second-favorite in the Golden Boot race at 10-1.

Other notable title odds entering the season include Tottenham Hotspur (22-1), Aston Villa (50-1), and Newcastle United (200-1).

Hull City, Ipswich Town and Coventry, the three clubs that earned promotion this year, are odds-on favorites to be relegated.
