Nottingham Forest were stung late by an 88th minute Anton Stach winner for Leeds United as yet another Nottingham Forest manager got their stint off to a losing start (Glasner is now the seventh straight permanent Forest manager to lose their first Premier League game in charge).
Stach, who won the freekick he scored from by drawing a tired challenge from Nikola Milenkovic, squeezed his effort in at the near post as poor position from Matz Sels allowed it to squirm in despite the Forest keeper getting a hand to it.

Leeds started much the better of the two sides, dominating possession, but created just one clear-cut chance in the first half as Harry Wilson turned it in after a good move but saw the goal disallowed for offside. Forest, meanwhile, grew into it as the match wore on and could rightfully claim to have been the better, more proactive side by the end of the ninety. Igor Jesus in particular was a handful, as was Ola Aina on the right.
Milenkovic, meanwhile, got closest to scoring for them as he glanced a header off the far post and Forest's general set-piece prowess troubled Leeds greatly. It was rather ironic then that it was a Leeds set piece that saw the only goal of the game.
Daniel Farke's men seem to have picked up from where they left it last season, result-wise, and these three points will give them the perfect platform to aim higher this season.
